Creativity. The ever flowing expression of our soul. For me, my creativity starts flowing when I am traveling and outside of my comfort zone. When I'm sitting near the ocean listening to the waves. When I'm gazing up at a mountain top breathing in the fresh air and when I'm in love or going through heartache.
So...what drives your creativity? What feeds your soul? What's your outlet? Music? Tea? Wine? Tequila? Dancing? Indulging in holistic tonics or sound baths? Connecting with your feminine energy? For me... I would say yes to all.
As a woman who rides the waves of emotions and the ebs and the flows of life, sometimes I have to slow down to tap into my creativity. I have to nurture my soul enough to where I stop, listen and feed my creative energy so that my happiness doesn't die. So that my feminine, sensual, spiritual side stays alive. And sometimes...I forget all this. I get wrapped up in "society" fast paced society. Money hungry; maddening society. And that's not the place where my soul is nurtured. And I know that. So during the times that I am stuck, I seek inspiration outside myself. I start curating my tumblr through other peoples expressions, to create a spark that will ignite my own feminine source of creative energy; so that I may be a contributor to beauty; to truth, to growth, to love, to art, to myself.
So...what speaks to you? Slowing down? Speeding Up? Escaping the norm? Silence? Or are you stuck?? If you are, that's okay... just know how to become unstuck. Create a tumblr. Travel. Have Amazing Sex. Drink Wine. Drink Tea. Go to Yoga. Dance. Love -Yourself. And in the meantime, while you're trying to become unstuck, maybe take a look at The Bohemia Way Tumblr, and get inspired. Maybe take a long drive with the music blaring and the windows rolled down. DO something that inspires you. And if none of that works, it's okay. Honor the space you are in.
